Noteflight!
This is just a short piece that I wrote on Noteflight.com. This is a very useful website were one can create and edit a piece of music of his/her own creation. This is very useful to an aspiring composer.

Jazz- Louis Armstrong
This video is “Hello, Dolly!” I have always enjoyed listening to Louis Armstrong because of his energy. The way he put his entire body and soul into his music was such a wonderful inspiration to jazz musicians. The form is pretty simple. I hope you enjoy it, too.
Musical Influences
One person who influenced me to pursue a career in music was my mother. She has been a musician since the age of five. She played piano as a child. When she began high school she was told to play trumpet and French horn in the band. She soon became advanced in both instruments as well as piano. She has also been a singer for most of her life, starting out in her church choir and then moving on to be a part of the choir at College of the Ozarks. She saw a talent in me that she knew would only grow so she encouraged me to join choir. I’ve been singing ever since.
The next person to help me choose this path was Mr. Mat Whitworth. He heard me sing in a classroom setting and decided to hear me individually. This was the beginning of my life as a musician. He nurtured my voice for 7 years, all the while preparing me for the stage and classroom. Any time I became frustrated or did not want to practice, he showed me new ways to go about learning music. One of the most important lessons he ever taught me was that the sheet music is just the blueprint; the real music must come from inside. I will never forget that.
